The Feed

On September 28, my lifelong dream of acting in a musical culminated in my final bow at the Pamela Brown Theatre. As we usher in the holiday season, I feel it necessary to take some time to reflect on all that took place, and the indelible impact that work has had on my life.

There were so many gems of Black history, culture, resistance, spirituality, and survival masterfully tucked into this work; light and darkness; spirits and ancestors; intentions vs. impacts; hainte blue and blood red; good and evil.

Like my platform, my reading list is unapologetically Black, so it's only right that I share some of my favorite Black authors with you.
